Tittel: Italian Forum of the Water Movement
Skrevet av: TrudeMandag 27. Februar 2012, kl. 19:58

Activists of the Italian Forum of the Water Movement occupied the premises of the Italian Minister of the Environment, 24 February 2012, Rome.

The Italian Water Movement wants that the government confirms the results of the referendum in which 26 million Italians expressed themselves against the privatisation and liberalisation of water services. The Monti government has not expressed itself clearly.

The occupiers and including representatives of EPSU affiliate CGIL-FP forced a meeting with Minister Clini. The Minister made a statement arguing that he would respect the results of the referendum.
